  • Submission Instructions:

We are not accepting new submissions this year.

    Book manuscripts:

    • Send us a short query email describing your work, and attach a sample chapter, preferably the introduction.
    • We specialize in shorter books. The word count of your final manuscript must not exceed 50,000 words.
    • We publish non-fiction work that explore social, cultural, political, cognitive/psychological, ecological, artistic, and technological issues, trends, and solutions from a multidisciplinary perspective. We are particularly interested in alternative, progressive, provocative, and groundbreaking work with a small, niche market and with transformative potential.
    • We also accept creative non-fiction and fictional work addressing personal or social transformational themes. Examples of books that do this: Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder, Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Hence, a crime, science-fiction or political thriller novel or short story may be acceptable if it includes a major component of personal or social transformation. Such work of poetry, collections of short stories, anthologies, and novels are welcomed.

To increase your chance of acceptance ensure your manuscript is well-polished and professionally edited before submitting it.

We only accept email submissions. Send your work in MS Word to: submit@waterhillpublishing.com

To submit to our CrossBridge journal/magazine, follow the instructions on the periodical page.
